On March 15, 2026 our family had to put down our beloved “Clyde.”
We recently found out that our beloved 12 yr old Boxer/Lab had cancer. He was the sweetest most loyal boy.
We were so blessed that Dr. Hassey, from Quiet Corner Mobile Vet was able to come to our home. She recently started an at-home euthanasia business. It was so comforting to us to not have to take our sweet boy somewhere he didn’t know anyone. He was able to be with his family, in the comfort of his home for his last moments.
Dr. Hassey was professional she went over how it would be done and answered all our questions. Most of all she was caring and sensitive to our pain. I would highly recommend her. It made losing our boy just a little easier.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hassey and her team at Quiet Corner Mobile Vet. From the moment she arrived, she was incredibly professional, yet so warm and genuinely empathetic. This is one of the hardest experiences any pet owner has to go through, and she handled it with such grace and compassion that it made an unbearable situation feel just a little more peaceful.
Dr. Hassey took her time, explained everything clearly, and made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Her colleague, was just as kind, patient, and supportive. Together they created a calm, respectful environment that truly honored our dog.
Even though this was such a painful moment, I’m so grateful we chose to do this at home. Being in a familiar, loving space made all the difference for me, my husband and our dog. I can confidently say I will never go through this process at a veterinary hospital again. Quiet Corner Mobile Vet provides a level of care and compassion that simply can’t be matched in a clinical setting.

Dr. Hassey & her nurse, Abby, made what was the hardest decision of mine and my husbands lives so easy and comforting during such a difficult time. She was very kind, and patient, and both truly took their time and made things much more comfortable for our family and our beloved pet. Not once did we feel pressured or rushed during our dogs last moments. Our dog was 14 and taking him to the vet would have stressed him out and made him uncomfortable. I am so glad our boy, Blue’s, final moments were home and surrounded by family and such a kind team. She answered all my daughters questions even though it seemed like a lot. She didn’t get upset with the kids and even let them listen to our dogs heartbeat one final time. Truly an amazing service id recommend to anyone with an older or sick pet that they’d like to be more personal during their final time with them.
